Could you imagine living your entire life in a small, wire cage with no companionship, and little hope of ever becoming part of a family? Sadly, this is the reality for all puppies bred in puppy mills. Puppy mills are large-scale dog breeding operations where the owners care more about making money than the dog's welfare. New born dogs are housed in overcrowded, unsanitary, and overall unhealthy conditions with lack of exercise and socialization preventing them from living a normal life.
How sad! I am glad I read this blog. You always see those sad commercials on tv, but who knew it was so common here in tucson.

This was a very interesting blog. I liked how there were pictures that seemed gloomy and didn't have animals in theme. It set the proper mood for this piece. I really like at how the end it said how you can make a difference! -Taylor Bull
